Aires de Revolución
The story, “Aires de Revolución” was published in Sunday’s El País Semanal and featured a group of portraits that I made of young Arabs living in Spain, and examined their roles in the current uprising in their countries.

These four interviews were shot last month for El País Semanal. There are still a bunch of shots for Semanal that have yet to be be published. I really enjoy working with the editors and reporters, specifically Elena García. She is very patient with my Spanish and has been very supportive of my work since we had out first meeting in January. Thanks Elena!
Juan Lopez de Uralde
Juan Lopez de Uralde is Green Party leader here in Spain as well as the former director of Greenpeace. I photographed him outside of his humble campaign office in Madrid as he had just begun to prepare for the upcoming national elections. The portrait was published yesterday in El País Semanal. Here are some other shots that I like that were not used.
Busy, Busy
I have had a busy few weeks here in sunny Madrid with five assignments from El País Semanal. I have photographed an actor, a presidential candidate, a museum director, an architect and a linguist all for the interview section of the magazine. I will be posting images and outtakes here and on Vivo en Madrid as these images are published in the coming weeks.
I will also be doing a little bit of work and fun-related traveling in the next few week.s I will be in Paris from Feb 23-28 and Lanzarote in the Canary Islands from Mar. 1 to Mar. 8. If you are looking for images from these locations, I will be happy to make time. That’s all for now, check back for updates.
Federico Luppi
I photographed the actor Federico Luppi who has appeared in many well-known Spanish language films including Guillermo del Toro’s Cronos. He was really great, and we spent about three hours photographing until I was satisfied. This was my first of hopefully many opportunities to work with the great magazine, El Pais Semanal. I will share images from the shoot after the story in published.
Caza

Holidays
I will be in Andujar, Spain over the holiday period. I will return to Madrid before New Years Eve.
